Symptoms
A user, not logged in and surfing on a Content Studio web site, hits a protected location and cancels the logon dialog that appears. After this the user loses her anonymous session and is prompted what ever she selects on the site.
Cause
IIS clears the users Anonymous session when the user is attempting to logon to the system via a web browser. This is true whether the logon attempt was successful or not.

Status
The Content Studio team are aware of this behavour but currently there is no work around avaliable.
